Introduction:
Welcome to our first edition of ıöı©ÍÇıÂıÑı¼ı¼ıÑıíıÂ, or our monthly Cornell Armenian Student Organization newsletter. For now, this newsletter will serve as a way for the Executive Board to communicate plans for the upcoming time frame and projects being worked on. In the future, we are looking to expand this to include other segments, if interested in collaborating to make this happen, please let a member of the board know.
Updates:
We have a number of projects in the works. One notable one being our Armenian language class in the fall. Many of the details are still being determined, but if you’re interested and haven’t already expressed interest, please fill out this form here.
Our main form of communication for 2023-2024 will remain GroupMe. If you aren’t already a member of the GroupMe, please contact Armen (aga44).
We have launched a webpage, and while bare at the moment, we hope to expand it to serve as a public hub for accessing information about ASO. It can be found at this link.
Member Spotlight:
Ryan Kiachian ‘25, a member of Cornell’s basketball team, will be playing for the Armenian National Basketball team against France on June 16th and 17th. I encourage all of our Armenians around the Los Angeles area to go cheer him and the team on! The event will be held at CSU Northridge.
